LinkedIn is largest professional social networking website and its iPhone and Android apps are among the top apps. Recently LinkedIn released Windows phone (From Microsoft) app with rich functionality and features. Snap shot of the LinkedIn’s Windwos phone app is as shown in the figure,

Still many organizations and professionals are using Windows phones to do business. LinkedIN aim is to help those professional to build the network and connect with other professionals. According to LinkedIn the new Windows mobile app provides more features than the iPhone or Android app.

Features and functionality of new Windows phone app for LinkedIn are as follows,

  • App is less than 1 MB and its available for free to download and install.
  • App provides access to a real-time update stream with news and information from connections and groups, news about the jobs industry.
  • A search functions for employment, and the ability to follow favorite companies’ news.
